Rocking the Daisies

I redesigned the visual identity of Rocking the Daisies around the concept of a “Garden of Native Flowers.” Each selected artist was represented by a different Western Cape flower, connecting music, nature, and individuality. I developed a bold visual language using pixel-inspired flowers, organic textures, bright colors, and experimental typography.
The redesign allowed me to explore how an existing festival identity could be reimagined while still feeling energetic and recognizable. It also gave me the opportunity to build a consistent identity across multiple applications.
I expanded the redesign into an advertising campaign designed to encourage audiences to “Find Your Flower.” The campaign connects people’s music tastes with different flowers and artists, turning the festival lineup into an interactive experience. I applied the identity across posters, billboards, digital advertising, and other promotional material. The campaign combines clear messaging with playful visuals to capture the attention of a younger audience. This project strengthened my skills in campaign development, branding, advertising, visual systems, and audience-focused design.

Artist Prooof Studio

The identity was built around a three-ring symbol, representing growth, connection, and the different stages of Artist Proof Studio’s journey. I used a bold black, white, and red color palette to create strong contrast and visual impact. The system was supported by Gotham typography to keep the identity structured and contemporary. I also explored Suminagashi-inspired textures and motion, bringing a more organic and artistic quality into the visual language. These elements were then developed across different applications to create a consistent and flexible brand system.
For this project, I developed a refreshed identity for Artist Proof Studio’s 35th anniversary, built around the concept of “RE-BIRTH.” The aim was to celebrate its history while creating a visual identity that felt contemporary and expressive.
This project allowed me to explore how an established organization can be refreshed without losing its existing character. It strengthened my skills in identity design, visual systems, experimentation, and brand application.

hARARE gOLD

For Harare Gold, I developed a visual identity inspired by the unique character, culture, and energy of Harare, Zimbabwe. The project gave me the opportunity to draw from a place that I am personally familiar with and translate those influences into a contemporary design direction.
Throughout the project, I experimented with typography, color, imagery, composition, and texture to build a distinctive visual language. I focused on creating an identity that felt connected to Harare while still having a modern and refined appearance.
The visual system was then carried across different applications, allowing me to explore how the identity could remain recognizable and consistent across multiple formats.
